Introduction Of Ram Mandir

Ram Mandir is also known as Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. It is a Hindu temple in Ayodhya, India, dedicated to Lord Rama. Its construction gained widespread attention due to the Ayodhya dispute, which centered around the religious and political significance of the site. The Supreme Court of India resolved the issue in 2019, allowing for the construction of the temple. The ceremony took place on August 5, 2020, with the temple expected to become a significant religious and cultural symbol for Hindu.

       The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya holds historical and religious significance as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, a central figure in the Hindu epic Ramayana. The construction of the temple was long-standing issue marked by legal disputes and sociopolitical debates. The ceremony is known as the Bhoomi Pujan, was attended by various dignitaries, including the India architectural styles and expected to be grand structure.

        In 1528, the Babri Masjid was built on the site by the Mughal emperor Babur. Hindus believed that the mosque was built on the ruins of an earlier Hindu temple dedicated to Rama. This belief led to a long-standing dispute between Hindus and Muslims, which culminated in the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 by Hindu kar sevaks.

About the constructure of Ram Mandir

 

  •  The Ram Mandir is being built in a traditional North Indian style of architecture. The temple will be 161 feet (49 meters)  tall, 380 feet (120 meters) long, and 250 feet (76 meters) wide. It will have five domes, the largest of which will be 161 feet (49 meters) in diameter.
  • The temple will have three floors:- The ground floor will house the garbhagriha, or sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of Rama will be kept. The first floor will have a mandapa, or hall, where devotees can gather. The second floor will have a shikhar, or tower.
  • The temple will be surrounded by a large courtyard. The courtyard will have a number of smaller temples and shrines dedicated to other Hindu deities.
  • The construction of the temple is being funded by donations from Hindus all over the world.
